Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Spotify to ThaiJam?

Follow the Spotify Client ID setup guide to create a Spotify Developer App, copy its Client ID, and connect it in ThaiJam.

Do I need an account to learn?

No. Flashcards, review, quizzes, the alphabet, sentences and songs all work without signing in. Only AI features, in-app purchases and pronunciation scoring require an account (Apple or Google).

How do I restore an AI credit purchase?

Sign in with the same account you bought it with, then go to Me → AI Credits and refresh. Purchases that were not credited retry automatically — the receipt is kept, so your money is not lost. If it still has not arrived, email us with the order information.

How do I delete my ThaiJam account?

Me → AI Credits → Delete Account. Deleting forfeits any remaining AI credits; the app confirms before it proceeds.

How do I manage sync across devices?

iOS: Me → Settings controls cross-device sync (stored on the ThaiJam server) and iCloud audio backup (stored in your own private iCloud database) separately. They are independent switches.

Android: Me → Settings → Cross-device sync. Android has no iCloud, so imported audio files and cover art stay on that device only.

My data did not follow me to a new phone

Check that both devices are signed in to the same account and that cross-device sync is on. Audio files and album art do not sync — only song titles, artists and lyrics do. That is deliberate.

Pronunciation scoring says I am out of attempts for today

There is a fixed number of free attempts each day; it resets the next day. You can exchange AI credits for more from the pronunciation scoring screen.

如何將 Spotify 連結到 ThaiJam？

請依照 Spotify Client ID 設定教學建立 Spotify Developer App、複製 Client ID，再回到 ThaiJam 完成連結。

核心學習功能需要登入嗎？

不需要。單字卡、複習、測驗、字母、句子、歌曲都可以在不登入的情況下使用。只有 AI 功能、App 內購買與發音評測需要登入（Apple 或 Google 皆可）。

如何恢復 AI 點數購買？

用原本購買時的同一個帳號登入，再到「我的 → AI 點數」重新整理交易狀態。沒有入帳的購買會自動重試 —— 憑證會留著，所以錢不會不見。若仍未入帳，請附訂單資訊寄信給客服。

如何刪除 ThaiJam 帳號？

前往「我的 → AI 點數 → 刪除帳號」。刪除會使剩餘 AI 點數失效，App 會在執行前再次確認。

如何管理跨裝置同步？

iOS：「我的 → 設定」可以分別控制跨裝置同步（存到 ThaiJam 伺服器）與 iCloud 音檔備份（存到你自己的 iCloud 私人資料庫）。兩者是獨立的開關。

Android：「我的 → 設定 → 跨裝置同步」。Android 沒有 iCloud，匯入的音檔與封面圖只存在這台裝置上。

換手機之後資料沒有跟過來？

先確認兩台都登入同一個帳號，而且跨裝置同步是開著的。音檔與專輯封面不會同步（只有歌名、歌手、歌詞會），那是刻意的。

發音評測說「今天用完了」

每天有固定的免費次數，隔天自動恢復。需要更多次可以在發音評測畫面用 AI 點數兌換。
